The term whale is ambiguous; they are the largest species of exclusively aquatic mammals members of the Cetacean which also includes Dolphins and porpoises. The largest whale is the giant blue whale which can reach lengths of up to 100ft and way up to 150 tons! This is bigger then any living thing that ever walked on earth. Whales are not fish; they are actually in the same group as us, mammals. Chicken in Creamy Creole Sauce

Chicken can be treated right, I learnt this from my friend last week and the feelings it left on me made me decide to do a post on it and it was simply delicious! and I think I'll have to make it again for sure and if I can't get the real taste, then I'll have to call her to come around. She used chicken parts instead of the ussual chicken breasts, added some sliced hot sausage and a small can of sliced mushrooms. She skipped the milk part, I thought the sauce was perfect just the way it was. Chicken Breasts in Creamy Creole SauceChicken breast recipe for crockpot with bacon, chicken breasts, green onions, Cajun or Creole seasoning, and tomato paste.
Cook Time : 8 hours(you have to make a lot of sacrifice to get this)
This is how we did the mouth watering magic
INGREDIENTS:
1 bunch green onions
2 slices bacon
1 teaspoon Creole seasoning
3 tablespoons butter4 tablespoons flour
3/4 cup chicken broth
2 tablespoons tomato paste
4 chicken breast halves
1/2 cup half and half or milk.
PREPARATION:In a saucepan, melt butter over medium low heat. Add onions and bacon, cook and stir for 2 minutes.
Add flour, stir and cook for 2 more minutes.
Add chicken broth; cook until thick then add tomato paste.
Place chicken breasts in the slow cooker/Crock Pot; add sauce mixture.
Cover and cook on low for 6 to 7 hours, stirring after 3 hours.
Stir in milk about 30 minutes before done.
Then serve over pasta or rice.

Sometimes I wonder why some kinds of foods has come to stay as everyone’s kind of breakfast. what I mean is we have so many kind of food on earth but the most popular kind of breakfast appear to be beverage, tea, or coffee with bread. I woke up this morning wondering what to make for breakfast and the first thing that came to my mind was bread and tea. since I was a baby till now 8 out of 10 times I always wake up with tea and break or beverage is always on the table waiting for me and my brothers we all enjoy it but... mummy never give us anything in the morning without tea or coffee out of curiosity I start wondering why it has to be tea. But you know what? I still enjoy the early morning tea anyway.

Taking a Memorable Walk

I spent last evening at the beach trying to reflect on the wonderful times I’ve spent with my pop, reflecting on the memories and the joy we sheared. But before going to the going to the sea side I took flowers and made a beautiful card for my dad and placed it by his grave side. Not pathetic but memorable cause he sure was a good Dad. And the sea side was the best place for me to be especially at that particular moment of my life to stay away from everyone but alone with the the sky the ocean I and the precious memories of my loving daddy, I did not cry, I only smiled and sang and shed tears of joy. I’ll always miss him no matter what.

The park bench was deserted as I sat down to read Beneath the long, straggly branches of an old willow tree Disillusioned by life with good reason to frown For the world was intent on dragging me down.
And if that weren't enough to ruin my day, A young boy out of breath approached me, all tired from play. He stood right before me with his head tilted down And said with great excitement, "Look what I found!"
In his hand was a flower, and what a pitiful sight, With its petals all worn - not enough rain, or too little light. Wanting him to take his dead flower and go off to play, I faked a small smile and then shifted away.
But instead of retreating he sat next to my side And placed the flower to his nose And declared with overacted surprise, "It sure smells pretty and it's beautiful, too. That's why I picked it; here, it's for you."
The weed before me was dying or dead. No vibrant colors: orange, yellow or red. But I knew I must take it, or he might never leave. So I reached for the flower and replied. "Just what I need."
But instead of him placing the flower in my hand, He held it mid-air without reason or plan. It was then that I noticed for the very first time That weed-toting boy could not see: he was blind.
I heard my voice quiver; tears shone in the sun As I thanked him for picking the very best one. Through the eyes of a blind child, at last I could see The problem was not with the world; the problem was me.
And for all of those times I myself had been blind, I vowed to see the beauty in life, And appreciate every second that's mine. And then I held that wilted flower up to my nose and breathed in the fragrance of a beautiful rose And smiled as I watched that young boy, Another weed in his hand, About to change the life of an unsuspecting old man.

South African Damara and Dorper Sheep Compared

In a study of the carcass and meat quality characteristics of two sheep and two goat breeds produced under extensive feeding conditions by the Animal Nutrition and Animal Products Institute in South Africa the Damara and Dorper breeds of sheep were compared. In the tests performed the Damara meat was found to be of higher quality than the Dorper. The Damara was found to have high flavor intensity, extremely high tenderness, extremely juicy, devoid of residual connective tissue. The qualities where Damara was found to be more superior to other meat qualities sought after in all lean meat for its tastiness, juiciness, flavor and fat content. The leanness of Damara meat would be considered excellent for the ‘healthy heart’ criteria.

LG Has Just Launched Personal Media Players

LG has just launched one of the personal media players they announced at CES earlier this year. The MFJM53 has an 8GB drive, a 1.77-inch touch-sensitive OLED screen, and measures a slight 10.1 x 4.8 x 1.4cm, weighing 88g. And while it certainly meets the definition of a PMP, LG seems to be downplaying that aspect of the device, referring to it simply as an MP3 player on their website. In addition to MP3s, it'll handle PlaysForSure WMA files, WAV, Ogg, MPEG-4 AVI, and JPEG files. The device also has an FM radio, built-in microphone, and line-in port for audio recording, and the battery should give you about 30 hours of music playback or 4 hours of video, according to LG. They also list something called "Music Therapy" in the specs but don't give any details. Whatever it is, it sounds like Mac users will have to get their therapy fix elsewhere.

We all have gotten too used to having a camera as a single unit these days, I guess, and that’s why Yanco designe decided to break the mould, and create a camera that splits in half which She calls it the "Slide Box". The lens portion, on a fat pen-like stick, can easily be removed and placed somewhere. It can even be attached to another object by an elastic band. The main unit provides a color monitor and acts as a remote control device for the picture taker.When put together, it doesn’t look like the smallest snapshot capturer on the market, but bear in mind that this is still in the concept stage and substantial changes can still be made. Personally, I like it, especially for its application of taking group pictures without forcing someone to sit out.

Baked Yam With Alaska Salmon, Sour Cream And Chives

You may think I like eating but no, I like cooking because it's one of my hubby, but now I'm talking about yam, though yam is not a kind of food known by everyone but here in West Africa we can’t trade it for any thing. But this preparation here is not African but a recipe I also enjoyed.50 Minute Meal 1 can (14.75 oz.) or 2 cans (7.5 oz. each) traditional pack Alaska salmon OR 2 cans or pouches (6 to 7.1 oz. each) skinless, boneless salmon4 medium yams or sweet potatoes1 cup light sour cream
3 Tablespoons chopped fresh chivesSalt and pepper Fresh salad greens, if desired Drain and chunk Alaska salmon, removing skin and bones (if any).
Cover and set aside.
Blend sour cream and chives in bowl; refrigerate until needed.
Wipe yams clean with damp paper towels. Pierce each yam with a fork.
Bake for 40 to 50 minutes in 400°F oven or 8 to 10 minutes in microwave, turning occasionally, until tender to the touch. Slice each yam lengthwise to nearly split; spoon in ¼ cup sour cream mixture.
Top with Alaska salmon chunks; season to taste with salt and pepper.
Serve with fresh salad greens, if desired.

Do You Like Marinated Octopus?

Here's recipe for my favorite marinated Octopus dish. I tried it last week with my friends, though there are different ways of preparing it but i did it my way, but you won't believe this, I loved what i got.
Here's some steps.
2 med. octopus
1 cup Sitia Extra virgin olive oil
1 cup wine vinegar 1 lg. onion 1 tablespoon Knossos or, egano
1 teaspoon pepper 2 teaspoons rosemary
1/2 cup lemon juice
Place octopus in a large pan with plenty of water and boil for 2 hours.
Remove from heat; wash and remove the skin.
Cut in desired size pieces. In a bowl, combine all the ingredients, except the lemon juice, and add octopus.
Mix well, cover, and refrigerate for several hours or overnight.When ready to serve stir in the lemon juice.
Try it with me you'll sure love what you will get.

SEOUL, South Korea - Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. has developed the slimmest mobile phone. The SGH-X820 will be showcased at the Sviaz/ExpoComm in Moscow this week. "The Samsung ‘ultra-slim phone’ has set a record in the mobile handset history by breaking the wall of 7-millimeter thickness for the first time in the world," the company said in a statement”. The South Korean electronics giant has been focusing on the slim range ever since Motorola's Razr range becoming such a huge success. The SGH-X820 is just about 6.9 mm thick and weighs about 66 grams. It has got an in-built MP3 player, which can store up to 80MB of music files. A 2-megapixel camera, Bluetooth connectivity and a TV-out jack complete the sleek picture. The candy bar-style handset is slated for a European launch later in the month and will be launched in China in June. It will initially be based on GSM technology, but depending on the response and demand, the company said that it would launch a CDMA-based model in the United States. The pricing details of the phone have not yet been announced.

PCSIntel is reporting that Apple's effecting a "silent" recall and replacement of first and second week MacBook Pro batteries with the serial numbers W8607 and W8608 due to the Symptoms of battery failure, power cut-offs, mis-reporting of remaining power, and unresponsiveness to status polling.This means that only the very first week or so of production of MacBook Pros are affected. You know, the usual for a 1.0 product. Though Apple PR have not said this yet, but a quick call to Apple support -- which according to PCSIntel should have yielded a quick blanket-return of any part with a serial that started as stated above -- yielded no recommendation for return. That doesn't necessarily mean the batteries from the first and second weeks aren't (often) defective, or that Apple isn't necessarily silently recalling them. This doesn't mean that if your new system is having problems you'll not be giving them a call.

Here comes another cheap iPod all the way from China, but in the case of Meizu's Mini Player, it looks like they've actually managed to make an improvement on the oft-copied design. Sure, that control scheme might not have any scroll action in it, but it does make room for 2.4-inches of QVGA screen in a form factor smaller than a 5G iPod. I can't complain about the price either, with versions ranging from a $87 512MB unit, all the way to a $200 4GB model. The unit supposedly supports video and playback, though I'm not sure of the extent of codec support. I do know that the Mini Player has 20 hours of claimed battery life for music playback, which doesn't sound bad at all for the tiny 0.4-inch thick device. I don't really expect to see it in the states any time soon, but this is one iPod look-alike I actually wouldn't mind spending a bit of time with.

Though they didn't look like the fork one sees around the kitchen table today, more like a small spear. Table knives didn't come around until about the 16th century. Prior to that, men used pocket knives, daggers, or whatever they may have been carrying on their person at the time, but still they are called cutlery, though we may forget to consider their worth, way back then, there were those who considered eating with a fork and knife a great privilege.

The toys are simply unique. All you have to do is to understand its full function. Maybe I've over-romanticized this. But they are cool. And the best part is they're usually on clearance, because they don't have a hip cartoon/movie to market them. Toy companies works internationally. Kudos to these designers for evolving past their peers. Technozoids Robotic animals and monsters; this, you build from a kit (don't worry, they're pretty easy). The larger ones require batteries, the smaller ones just wind up. They walk, gnash their teeth, wag their tails, wave their guns, flap their wings, and just name it. You can find these at any good Walmart stores for cheap prices. There are few incarnations that were released only in Japan. These are usually significantly more expensive. Mobile Suit Gundam These are pretty expensive, since they're imported. I am yet to buy one, but brother, they look good. What's your knid of soup, i love soup but whaen i came across this last week i decided to shear it with you.
The carrot soup reciep
2 Tbsp oil3/4 cup chopped onion,
3 cups ground carrots (chop or run through a meat grinder)
1 quart stock (can use bouillon)
2 Tbsp tomato paste2 Tbsp barleysalt and red pepper to taste
In a 3 quart pot, sautee the onions in the oil. Add the rest of these ingredients to the pot and simmer for 30 minutes. Puree in blender and return to pan. Then add these ingredients before serving.:
1/2 cup evaporated milk (or double strength powdered milk)1 Tbsp butter

Samsung has snagged the honor of being first out of the gate with a cellphone with a built-in hard drive. The first cellphone to sport a built-in hard drive (1.5 gigger, to be exact), now they're back in effect with the SGH-i300, a massively spec'd out 3GB model. The i300 runs on Windows Mobile and comes with a 1.3 megapixel digital camera, Bluetooth, scroll wheel navigation (take that, iPod!), a 262,000 color, 240x320 LCD screen, support for playback of MP3, WMA, AAC, and AAC+ audio files, and a TransFlash memory card slot. Start saving for LG has exclusively revealed to Tech Digest that a new version of the near-legendary Internet fridge is heading for the stores. The original fridge was a huge American style cool box that featured a mini PC (running Windows 98), an LCD screen and TV tuner. Its owners, who rumour has it are largely made up of Premiership footallers, can use the device to surf the net, send and receive e-mail, play MP3s, take pictures and videos of themselves and watch TV. It sold for between £6-8000. I know little about the new version of the fridge, except that is likely cheaper, run using Windows XP and feature a pull out LCD screen. I also suspect it will have wireless facilities enabling it to feature as part of a Wi-Fi (802.11b) home network.

Nokia favors the European DVB-H standard, but the preferred frequencies are not available throughout the continent. That means most European countries like Finland, France, Spain, Italy and the Netherlands will adopt it commercially in coming months and years, but others may take much longer.

This baby comes with a 3MP camera which produces decent photos. The camera is like a point and shoot digital camera. It works on landscape mode with the shutter positioned as where you’d expect it on a point and shoot camera.
All in all, the N80 is a great phone so far.
